Flora in Alaska

These trees were killed by salt water when the ground sank 10 feet  in the 1964 earthquake. Today they are a dominant part of the landscape.

... and pictures of flowers ... some shot in their natural habitat, some artificially grown.

The ones below were from our walk in the park, right in the middle of the city,Anchorage.
